The range

Fixed restorations on implants, from single units to bridges

Tell us the implant system, platform and diameter on the prescription. If you are unsure which retention suits the case, say so and we will advise before work starts.

Screw-retained crowns and bridges

Retrievable · no cement

The restoration is retained by the abutment screw, so it can be removed for maintenance without cutting it off, and there is no excess cement to clear at the margin.

Indicated for:
single units and bridges where the screw channel emerges through the occlusal or palatal surface
Materials:
PFM as priced; zirconia and IPS e.max on request
from £80per crown

Cement-retained crowns and bridges

On a custom abutment

A crown cemented over a custom abutment, used where the implant angulation would put a screw channel through a visible or functional surface.

Indicated for:
anterior cases and angled implants
Price:
£90 Basic, £105 Advance
from £90per crown

Custom abutments

Titanium or zirconia

Designed for the individual case so that the margin sits at the right level in the gingival tissue and the emergence profile supports it.

Implant restoration questions

Which implant systems do you restore?

Straumann and Implant Swiss. Other systems on request: tell us the system, platform and diameter and we will confirm before you send the case.

Do you use original or compatible components?

Either, as you prescribe. Please send the components with the case, and state on the prescription if you require original manufacturer components.

Screw-retained or cement-retained: which should I prescribe?

Screw-retained where the screw channel can emerge through the occlusal or palatal surface, because the restoration stays retrievable. Cement-retained over a custom abutment where the implant angle would put the channel through a visible surface.

What if the parts I send do not match the implant?

We check every component against the stated system before work starts and will contact you. Cases made with mismatched parts at the practice's request are excluded from the warranty.
